Dana is a cute doll but her hair...
In her first photo shoot, she wears a bun, I fastened down with several bobby pins. Out of the box, her hair is straight, no curls, with a lone braid. It is not the straight texture that annoys me, but the squared edges that make it very hard to control.
The process...
I did not overly saturate her hair, but a gentle spritz of Peppermint water and set it. After 45 minutes on low heat under a dryer, I am pleased with the results.
Update...since this post, Dana received a much needed hair cut, along with a hot oil treatment, and final curl set. This should hopefully make her hair more manageable. Don't worry, she still has enough hair to pull into a ponytail or bun.
