Inspired by MimiG

One year ago, style maiden MimiG shared a diy pattern with her youtube subscribers titled "sack pants drop crotch tutorial".  Her generosity inspired me to give it ago for Journey Girls.

I was not sure it would work, but I am a risk taker when it comes to designing.  The biggest challenge was trying a fabric that would work and making the pattern big enough to make adjustments, which is typical in my design process.  It is much easier to go big and reduce than add-on.

I used newspaper for this diy and followed this tutorial starting with a pair of leggings just as Mimi suggested.  These leggings I used derived from my BOC #40404 Just Leggings pattern and extended the pattern to include these new drop sack pants.
